Ribbons of Blue / Waterwatch WA Coordination

The Ribbons of Blue network is coordinated at the State level by the State Support Team hosted by the Department of Environment and Conservation and supported by the Department of Education and Training.

Our Regional Coordinators, who are available on-ground to support school and community groups, are the great strength of the Ribbons of Blue program.

Go to this web page to find your Regional Coordinator.

The State Support Team

The State Support Team assists Regional Coordinators by coordinating state-wide events, providing educational and technical support, developing resources, developing the program, running the web site and representing the program in national forums.

If you are a teacher, student or community group member in a region without a Regional Coordinator, please contact the State Support Team to find out how Ribbons of Blue can help you.

Roles in the State Team:

  • State Facilitator, who is responsible for the coordination of the network, program and resource development, liaison with national and state/territory programs, the web site and maintaining funding and support partnerships
  • Education Officer, who is responsible for state-wide projects, such as annual competitions, developing educational resources and support for the Regional Coordinators and teachers
  • Community Education Coordinator, who is responsible for state-wide data confidence, and technical support for Regional Coordinators.
