Ribbons of Blue / Waterwatch WA is a community education network supported by a partnership of Commonwealth, State and Local Governments, community groups, and industry. The program is coordinated by the Department of Environment and Conservation.

Long-necked Turtles are common in the south-west. They breathe air and females leave the water in spring and summer to lay their eggs on land. They eat crayfish, shrimps, insects, molluscs and fish.
