Ribbons of Blue funding

Recently Ribbons of Blue coordinators in some regions have been informed that funding applications under the ‘Caring for our Country’ program and the Royalties for Regions Regional Grants Scheme have not been successful.

However, the Ribbons of Blue State Team and Regional Coordinators in Swan Canning, Warren and Midwest will continue their operations.  A South West Regional Coordinator will operate out of  GeoCatch in Busselton .

Those regions losing their coordinator are:

Avon  - Claire Hamersley (mid October)

Blackwood - Kim Posavec, Angela Hales, Jen Warburton (date TBC)

Cape to Cape  - Tracey Muir (end of September)

Kwinana Peel - Catherine Johnston (end of October)

Leschenault  - Chris Gibbs (end of September)

Those coordinators are highly valued by the schools and community groups in those regions and losing them is extremely regrettable.  We thank those coordinators for all their hard work, passion and commitment over many years.  The State Team will do as much as possible to assist schools in those regions who wish to continue their Ribbons of Blue activities.
