Ribbons of Blue can help you learn about our rivers, streams and wetlands and the plants and animals that live in these special places. You can also find out about how these places are under threat and some of the things we can all do to help improve them. Your local coordinator can work with your teacher and class to sample your local waterway to see how 'healthy' it is and the information you collect can go into our state-wide database. You can also take part in many other activities that will allow you to understand, and to explain to other people, some of the things that make our rivers, creeks and wetlands so special.
